If you have not had a time in your life where you have been afraid then either you are not human or you are lying. All of us at one time or another experience fear.
Recently I ran across a woman who was afraid of commitment. It has kept her from having a fulfilling life now for over 10 years. It is quite sad.

“I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation.

Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
My Final Thoughts About Battling Fear
There is hope for you if you are paralyzed by fear. You do not have to stay that way or live your life always fearful of tomorrow.
Jesus said in John 8:36
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
King David wrote, Psalm 68:6
“God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy”,
So I am more than confident that if you will lay down your fears and put your trust in the Lord, you too can be free from the fear that is binding you.
