My Favorite Bible Verses About Protection
We live in a world that is more and more hostile towards Christians. Many of our brothers and sisters face persecution on a daily basis. Even here in America, many Christians need God’s protection in their places of business or on the job. They need protection as they are traveling on our highways. They even need protection in their own homes in some places.
Our Heavenly Father knows how much we need His protection. He is in fact, a father just as we are fathers and mothers. One of the duties of a father is to protect his family. God knows this and takes this responsibility seriously. So I wanted to give you a list of Bible verses about protection that would help you know and trust in His ability and desire to protect you.
You may ask whether or not God will protect you in every situation. This all has to do with God’s plan for your life.
We were never promised a life free from hardship or trial. In fact, part of the Christian life is walking through those hardships and trials and at times it might seem that God is not protecting us.
The fact is that God has predestined us to become conformed to the image of Christ. Jesus did not walk away from trials.
However, at the same time, we see time and time again where God protected Him too and ultimately Christ sat down at the right hand of the Father.
So with a heavenly perspective in view, the answer is yes, but knowing that our ultimate destination is to be in the presence of God and not free from trial.
