Who Was A Hard Working Woman In The Bible?

The Story of Ruth and Naomi

The story of Ruth and Naomi is one of the most famous stories in the Bible. Naomi and her husband had moved to Moab, where both of them died. Ruth, Naomi’s daughter-in-law, decided to stay with her and care for her.

Despite the fact that she was a foreigner in a strange land, Ruth worked hard to provide for Naomi and herself. She worked in the fields of Boaz, a wealthy man who was also a relative of Naomi’s. Ruth eventually married Boaz and they had a son named Obed, who was the father of King David.

The Story of Abigail

Another example of a hard-working woman in the Bible is Abigail. Abigail was married to a foolish and wicked man named Nabal. When David and his men asked Nabal for food, Nabal refused to give them anything.

Abigail, however, was wise and saw the danger in Nabal’s refusal. She quickly gathered food and supplies for David and his men, saving them from a violent confrontation with Nabal.

The Story of Priscilla

The story of Priscilla is also inspiring. Priscilla and her husband, Aquila, were both Jewish tentmakers who moved to Corinth. Priscilla and Aquila were both hardworking people, and they quickly established a successful business.

Priscilla was also a teacher and mentor to many people, including the Apostle Paul. She was a godly woman who shared her wisdom and knowledge with others.

Conclusion

The Bible is full of inspiring stories of hard-working women who achieved great things. The stories of Ruth, Abigail, and Priscilla are just a few examples of women who worked hard and made a difference in their lives and in the lives of others.

We can all learn from the example of these hard-working women in the Bible and be inspired to work hard and do great things.
