From Earths’ Beginning Women Have Been Committed To Their God; Families And Friends.
Looking through ages past we recognize the accomplishments women have made; not only in their own lives, but also those of their families and friends; in the up-lifting of the Spirit of God; complete commitment and support to Jesus through His walk and teachings while on this earth. As we go through this segment you may be surprised and amazed with the things you learn about how wonderful, courageous, and unselfish women have been through the ages. As you probably know, God created woman to become a partner and helper to man, “Adam” the first of God’s human creations. God allowed Adam to name this first female and he selected the name “Eve” because it means “the first woman and the mother of all humanity.” Her place alongside Adam was explained to her by God; she was called to obey, serve him and fulfill the man; the man was to care and provide for the woman. In today’s world women are becoming more and more equal in stature to men; they not only tend and keep the home, cook, sew and maintain most things for the children and keeping up the home but 3 out of 4 married women these days also have a career or job outside the home. Most women take care of all household things such as paying the bills, doing the banking, shopping, cooking, and cleaning. Below are a few scriptures that will show you how strong and beneficial women are to a man. Some women go as far as to take the man’s place in both work and home; According to God all things between a man and woman should be shared; they should be working together in all they do; however, in today’s world, some women not realizing it, step into the place of a man in the home. Throughout their lives women have come face to face with much more difficult situations than anyone expected; childbirth for example: when God sent Adam and Eve from the garden for disobeying His commandments He told Eve that as punishment for disobeying Him and bringing sin into the world, her childbirth process would be with great suffering. Since that time women have developed strength and flexibility that mingles with the warm, gentleness, and loving-kindness God originally created in them. Although Eve brought the first evil into the world, she must be respected because she is, after all, the mother of humanity. If you look into the heart of a woman you will see that same steadfast loyalty today that was found when Jesus walked the earth. Once a woman gives you her trust and loyalty, almost nothing can prevent her from fulfilling her mission to serve and strengthen the esteem of whomever she is defending. Women, who by their own strength of heart and mind were brave, adventurous, and not afraid of facing any challenge; as you read about these women in the Bible, look also at the aspirations those great women held in their lifetime; what they were about and how they related to Jesus, assisted and worshiped Him; compare their feelings and attitudes to those you may carry now.5 Encouraging Bible Verses For Women
Then the man—Adam—named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all who live. Genesis 3:20NOTE: Eve in the Hebrew language means “Life;” “Living;” “full of life” or “mother of life;” thus the reason Adam named his wife, the first female, “Eve” as the “Mother of Humanity.” Even though Eve brought sin into the world by allowing herself to be tempted by Satan to disobey the command of God, she is still the first woman and “mother of all that live.”
But among the Lord’s people, women are not independent of men, and men are not independent of women. For although the first woman came from man, every other man was born of woman and everything comes from God. I Corinthians 11:11-12NOTE: Men and women may think they are completely separate from each other; however, they are much closer than they may think. We know that Eve, the first woman, was made with the rib bone of Adam, the first man. For that purpose it appears that man could be held in higher esteem than women; in keeping to the order of things, God formulated the perfect way to keep the male and female in need of each other. First, while it’s true Eve was made from Adam’s rib; Adam was the only man made by God from the dust of the earth; all other men came through women to enter into the world.
In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!” Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end.” Luke 1:26-33NOTE: Elizabeth was the mother of John the Baptist, “the one crying in the wilderness to make the way for the Lord because the Glory of God is coming to the earth.” John went through his life baptizing sinners into life with God. John the Baptist was a great teacher of the gospel and an awakener of those deep in sin. It was John the Baptist who ultimately baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. He preached to the people who gathered around him that someone much greater than he would be coming to baptize them in fire with the Holy Spirit.
A gracious woman gains respect, but ruthless men gain only wealth. Proverbs 11:16

NOTE: We should note that when a person is in pursuit of wealth, money, and possessions they are usually quite ruthless in their endeavor. These people have turned away from God and instead are pursuing darkness and the physical possessions of this earth. If you stand back and look at what is going on, you will see the evil taking hold of those people and the ones involved just stand by and allow it to happen, all for the sake of material possessions. If you only had a single thought of what awaited you in heaven, the things of this earth would mean absolutely nothing.
Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12NOTE: God made a woman to become the ultimate helper for her husband; she has the ability to maintain their home and family; she honors her husband not only through childbirth but also by maintaining the home, property, and family; she teaches their children to honor not only God, their heavenly father, but also to honor and respect their earthly father.
