The Bible has a lot to say about how destructive strife is when it is allowed into any area of our lives and the importance of putting an end to that strife. It is my prayer as you read these scriptures you will realize the importance of keeping strife away from your life.
So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren.
Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.
By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.
A wrathful man stirs up strife, But he who is slow to anger allays contention.
A perverse man sows strife, And a whisperer separates the best of friends.

I pray that reasonable people of good intent will stand up against the glorification of strife. I pray that our country changes direction and starts to make these things the things it focuses on.
