Bible Verses About Life Struggles

How Do You Deal With Times Of Struggling Throughout Your Life?

There is no doubt that every person on this earth has suffered periods of struggling through hardships or lack of things necessary to live.

Have you ever asked yourself what your mindset was during those times; was it with negative feelings or hateful thoughts about others who perhaps had more than, what you thought, was their share of supply, happiness, and peace?

Sometimes we look at others and resent them for what worldly goods they have; remember; there may be several things in their situation that you don’t know: where the supply is coming from; has it manifested to them through good or evil; do they flaunt what they own; do they boast about their accomplishments; do they share their good fortune with those who are less fortunate; these are just a few things that can give you an idea of what is behind their supply.

God is always a fingertip away; He will give you everything you need to grow in love and compassion; all you need do is “ask, knock or seek.”

When you are troubled and can’t seem to find a way out, ask God for peace and rest from your struggles: God will give you whatever you need whenever it is needed. His love, peace, joy, and rest are always with you; all you need do is accept it.

Bible Verses About Life’s Struggles

Luke 11:9-13 And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

NOTE: You will find that when you come upon struggles in your life, you must turn to God first. Ask Him for help to bring your joy back; stay close to Him and obey His commands.

Pray about your struggles, and ask Him to give you the answer to solving these problems; He is there for you, to answer every prayer; to ease every mind, and to bring comfort to those who are restless and having struggles with this life.

Think about what Jesus went through for you and our petty struggles will seem like nothing; think about how He suffered more pain in a few hours than you could handle your entire lifetime.

The struggles of knowing how His life was going to end and all the struggles He would have to endure before He actually laid down His life as He hung on the cross at Calvary.

James 1:2-4 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

NOTE: In this scripture, God is telling you that you must stop fretting about everything and start trusting Him in all things; through struggles, God will heal and set you free from your worries; you must pray and with unceasing effort hand those troubles to Jesus for He promised you a refuge in Him; use that refuge to keep yourself in line with obeying God’s commands.

James 1:12 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow it gives birth to death.

NOTE: This is just one instance of growing deeper into the negative, which rebound struggles.

You can even have struggles in your Christian walk with God; think about it, there are times when we just don’t feel like we can hold on one moment longer; that we are at the very end of our rope and not able to move one inch further.

It is at this time you should turn all this struggling over to Jesus. He is the one who can bring you out of the dangers you are in; He is the one that holds love and devotion for you in His very large heart. Just give Jesus the chance to help you out of your difficulties; you will be amazed at how quickly your problems are resolved.

Isaiah 41:13 For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

NOTE: God always lets you know that He is there for you; He will never forsake you, and you do not have to look far to find Him, merely turn around.

Wherever you find struggles, you will find our Father God standing right beside you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. Look to Him when your life runs into difficult struggles; He is your only answer.

1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

NOTE: You may look at some of this information and wonder how we know He loves us and how we know He will always be there for us; He promised to be and God has never broken a promise; He never lies; He never sins; He always loves; cares; tends; watches over; gives joy, peace and rest to each and every one of us.

That’s how we know! I don’t need to see Him to know He exists; nor do I have to see a written contract to know He keeps His word to us; His Bible, His Word is all we need to go by.

Psalm 27:1-3 The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

NOTE: Jesus started many of His conversations with “Don’t Be Afraid!” or “Fear Not!” He is always blessing you through His grace which means that you are so well protected from negative influences that you truly do not have to “be afraid” or “fear” anything!

Keep in mind that Jesus will sustain you in any situation at any time; just ask for help and you will find that Jesus is standing right behind you holding you up.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

NOTE: Take God’s hand where there is safety and let Him be your refuge in all your times of struggle no matter what it might be that holds you down. Give all your problems to God and allow Him to handle them.

As long as you have God by your hand, you have blessings throughout your life. There may be sometimes that you find a hardship along the way but if you remember back you will find how easily those problems and struggles disappeared when you allowed God to take over.

We are God’s most prized creation and He will never stop loving and caring for you; it is one of His main purposes after all, for humans to learn how to live in God’s kingdom under His commands as His adopted children with no worries or cares.
