A little education for some of you that didn’t pay attention in history class.

In 1896, the Supreme Court ruled in Plessy v. Ferguson that racially segregated public facilities were legal, so long as the facilities for Black people and whites were equal.

The ruling constitutionally sanctioned laws barring African Americans from sharing the same buses, schools, and other public facilities as whites—known as “Jim Crow” laws—and established the “separate but equal” doctrine that would stand for the next six decades.

This “law” or “right” was overturned.

Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka was a landmark 1954 Supreme Court case in which the justices ruled unanimously that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. Brown v. Board of Education was one of the cornerstones of the civil rights movement and helped establish the precedent that “separate-but-equal” education and other services were not, in fact, equal at all.

The same political party and ideology that fought against freeing the slaves, against desegregation, is the same political party and ideology that is now against giving the unborn the “right” to life.

Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturns Roe v. Wade like Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka.

It doesn’t ban abortion, but it returns the making of laws to those constitutionally authorized to make laws. the lawmakers themselves. Thus our job is not finished. We must compel our lawmakers to give the unborn the “right” to life.

There have been many examples throughout history of people and societies that have devalued human life. Every time that this has happened, atrocities and crimes against humanity have followed.

A very classic example of this was Nazi Germany and the slaughter of millions of people of Jewish descent.

We must not let this happen again. 63 million babies were slaughtered due to Roe v. Wade.

The Battle For The Right To Life Is Not Over!

All the Supreme Court did was pass the buck back to the states. They did not ban abortion. Now we have a real chance to see justice served to the voiceless unborn babies. We can change our society.

We can pass laws until we are blue in the face. Laws do help and should be passed but if we are going to end the slaughter of innocent human beings we are going to have to change hearts.

This is done through education. Every woman who is considering ending the life of her unborn child should be required to see that unborn child in the womb. They should be required to see the reaction of that little baby as the abortionist comes to pull or suck it out of the womb. They should be required to know where every single part of that unborn baby goes after the abortion and they should be required to provide a funeral for that child.

Unborn human beings should be given the right to life. This means that the only time that right can be terminated is in self-defense. The same right each and every one of us has.

It is time to call out the “me generation.” No, the world does not revolve around you. Life is more important than your career path. More important than your financial security, more important than your sexual proclivities and promiscuity. Life is sacred.

The heart of the women in this nation must be changed. Yes, the guys have a part to play as well but what was Roe v. Wade called? A “Woman’s right to choose.” 63 million women chose themselves. This self-centered mindset must be changed.

Where Do We Go From Here

Of course, contact the lawmakers of your state. The State House and Senate members. Let your voice be heard. But more importantly, teach your children, and your grandchildren the importance of life. The history of oppression and how the voiceless are always oppressed. Teach them this is a moral issue. This is an issue of right and wrong, not convenience and medicine.

This is one area where the church and science agree. Recently researchers discovered what is being called the spark of life at the moment of conception. Please watch.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5

I believe, with prayer, education, the church speaking up for the unborn, and the continued hand of God moving on the hearts of people, we will see our nation rise up and be the shining example of moral excellence it is called to be.

Blessings!
